Kerr family beat up

ABC1 drummed up loads of attention for Family Confidential featuring Aussie grown supermodel Miranda Kerr's family.

In the lead up to the show airing, ABC1 released comments from the show which seemed like Miranda's family was out to get her. If there is a family feud going on behind closed doors, the Kerr's certainly didn't reveal any juicy details.

In fact, the Kerr's comments came off way better on TV than they did in print media.

It sounded like the Kerr's were discussing how Miranda's global fame has come at a cost to quality family timeBut they weren't being nasty. They just seemed saddened.

Notably Miranda didn't feature because of 'other commitments'.

But what happened to the first rounds of auditions we've come to expect?

You know the ones with the dancers that aren't quite as good as what they think

Looks like they were given the flick.

Maybe it's for the better?

Which was better INXS or Schapelle

Channel 7's INXS Never Tear Us Apart v Channel 9's Schapelle. Which was better?

And in a race to win the ratings, Channel 9 decided to bring forward Schapelle by one day. What. A. Mistake. It would've been more relevant and made more sense to play the telemovie on Schapelle Corby's first night on parole. Instead Nine opted for a ratings war.

Channel 9's had nine years to make a telemovie and what a coincidence Deidre Chambers. They just happen to have produced a show ready for the surprise release of Corby. Is that not weird to you? And check out the dead ringers for

Here at Media Muncher we were flicking between Seven and Nine. INXS ended first so we got to see the last ten minutes uninterrupted of Schapelle which proved important because the script blamed her father and a friend for the drug smuggling. Interesting.

Both shows weren't officially endorsed by either party as 100 per cent true accounts.

The music made INXS Never Tear Us Apart whereas we felt emotional watching Schapelle given the timing of her parole.

Part two of INXS concludes next Sunday. Schapelle was a one off telemovie.

The Bachelor Australia flops

So The Bachelor Australia started and it's clearly not as good as the American version. But it makes you cringe and LOL.

Aussie Bachelor, Tim Robards.
Andrew G, sorry, 'Osher' (he will always be Andrew G in our heads) always explains how the show works and what's going to go down in these irritating voice-overs as if The Bachelor is a game show aired before the nightly news. We all know how The Bachelor works, it's not a new concept on TV...

Let's watch the ratings drop and see if it gets the flick to Channel Eleven. In the meantime, enjoy the comedy on display with the remaining 20-odd ladies awkward and forced romance with The Bachelor.

What were your 'first impressions' of the show?

Finally a shoe change

Anna Gare finally changed her shoes after wearing the same red wedges for the past month! Last night she wore blue wedges instead on Channel Nine's The Great Australian Bake Off.

It's funny how viewers can pick up on the smallest of fleeting details isn't it?!

Melissa Doyle's ridiculous farewell

Melissa Doyle's farewell from Sunrise. Image: smh.com.au
Talk about an OTT farewell for Channel Seven Melissa Doyle.

But why did they even call it a so-called farewell? It's not like she is leaving the entire station.

Her Sunrise farewell took precedence over the day's news. Such. A. Long. Segment. Repeated. Over. And. Over. LOL. Nothing wrong with having the last half hour of the show for the look backs, is there?

I don't think she is more important than world happenings especially since she's remaining with the Seven Network.

Just when you thought that was enough coverage, Seven's start up show The Daily Edition felt the need to repeat a farewell package during their show.

2 Broke Girls disappear after 2 episodes

You can't just start playing the new series of 2 Broke Girls and then stop after two weeks without any explanation.

Stars of 2 Broke Girls: Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs.

Channel 9 is treating viewers with disrespect. It was bad enough that Nine chose to play a repeat of The Big Bang Theory at 9.30pm over a new 2 Broke Girls episode which aired at 10pm.

It's understandable if reruns of The Big Bang Theory rate higher but it's just silly not to give new shows precedence.

Why not put new episodes of 2 Broke Girls on GO! Channel in a permanent timeslot?
